2 men who were taken to the hospital after the pickup, the golf car collides in New Kent

New Kent County, va. – Two men were taken to a hospital after a pickup fell into a golf car on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Virginia State Police, the crash occurred in the 7100 block of the Pinehurst Drive, which is located in the five lakes.

“The golf car traveled on a designated path when he did not give in to oncoming traffic on the street. The pick-up, which was driven by a 29-year-old woman from Prince George, could not avoid beating the car,” said the state police.

Both men in the golf car were injured in the crash. A medical helicopter was requested, later canceled, and both men were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Both male injuries are not life -threatening, said the state police.
