Nas pensacola, fla. – (Oba) –
A groundbreaking video podcast series about the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team debut this weekend. “Behind the Blues” will contain exclusive interviews with former team members. The four -part series contains never previously seen film material from central moments in the history of the squadron.

The series starts this Saturday, May 10th, on the

Blue Angel Phantoms YouTube Canal. New episodes are released every Saturday in May. Timing coincides with the month of consciousness for mental health. The aim of the producer is to support veterans for mental health problems. All revenue will go to the Blue Angels Foundation.

The

Blue Angels Foundation is a non -profit organization that is devoted to the support of wounded veterans and their families, especially for those who suffer from post -traumatic stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The foundation was founded by former team members and supporters of Blue Angels who wanted to continue to serve by helping those who have sacrificed the country.

The project is of particular importance through its family connection to the history of Blue Angels. The producer Ryan Nothwaft by Ryno Media Productions is the grandson of Roy “Butch” Voris, the first flight director for the Blue Angels.

Roy “Butch” Voris was not only the founding flight guide of the Blue Angels, but was a highly decorated pilot from the US Navy. Preis, a fighter Ace in World War II, flew missions in the Pacific Theater and earned numerous rewards for his skills and bravery in battle. In 1946 he was handpicked to form and lead the Blue Angels, and commissioned to present morality and recruitment in the post -war period and to increase morality and recruitment. Under his leadership, the team carried out its first Air show in Jacksonville, Florida in June 1946 and laid the foundation for a symbol of precision pilot and American aviation. His vision and discipline helped to establish the culture of excellence, which the Blue Angels still defined today.

Necessary, the founder of Blue Angel Phantoms, started the project in 2016 with the aim of documenting short documentaries and podcasts about reports in first -hand reports. Ryan grew up for his grandfather and was fascinated by the remarkable stories and the legacy of the Blue Angels. Nothing said to us: “I spent years to document the history of the Blue Angels, and this project is a chance to bring these stories to light that also supports our veterans. I have always inspired myself from the work of the Blue Angels Foundation and feel privileged to strengthen your mission.”

In November 2021, Ryan was noted as an honor blue angel. This recognition was awarded for his extensive work, in which the history of the US Navy Blue Angels was documented by his Blue Angel Phantoms project.

The spectators in the “Behind the Blues” will experience unique perspectives on significant events. An episode contains considerations from 2001 team members about their experiences during September 11th. Another rare film material from the only recorded Blue Angels Carrier landing on the USS Harry S. Truman.

Mary Lou Hall shares her emotional journey in a presented interview. As a wife of Capt Harley Hall, the last naval warrior during the Vietnam War, she discusses her decades of searching for answers about her husband's fate.

The series also examines the relationship between America's leading flight demonstration teams. Former pilots compare the cultures and operations of the Blue Angels and their colleagues from the Air Force, the Thunderbirds.

The interview style talks differentiates this project from traditional documentary films. Each episode contains incoming discussions with team members as well as historical film material and personal comments.

The video podcasts support the transition from military personnel and preserve the history of the blue angels. Spectators can see the series at
