NBA Best bets today (predictions, props for Thunder-Nuggets, Donovan Mitchell)

The NBA playoff action on Friday contains a few crucial game 3 for No. 1 seeds in every conference.

Let's start in the east.

Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers have a lead of seven points in the last minute of Game 2 on Tuesday and fell into a 0-2 hole against the Indiana Pacers in the first round. With the Cavs, which deal with injuries from Darius Garland, Evan Mabley and De'andre Hunter, they are in a difficult place to win four of the next five games.

Instead of bet a page in this matchup, I bet on a prop for Mitchell, which has done almost everything he can to win the cavs – without actually getting one.

In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder fell back from a defeat of game 1 to score 149 points on Wednesday in game 2, evening with the Denver Nuggets.

Now OKC is a street lover in game 3 and I buy the top seeds of the West to take the lead in this matchup. The lack of depth from Denver is a problem, and the defense of the team (which was one of the 10 reasonable units in the league in the regular season) has so far not been held up in this series and made 268 points possible in two games.

Let us break down each of these games on Friday evening for the campaign.

Oklahoma City Thunder -4.5 (-110) against the nuggets -0.5 unit

Denver won game 1 of this series in a dramatic way, but I don't buy the nuggets – even at home – at this price in game 3.

Okc hadn't played a great offensive game in the late season until after game 2, since Gilgeous-Alexander had shot the ball quite badly in his first five games (a little more than 41 percent off the field).

Now the thunder seems to have found this denver defense, which ended in the lower 10 in the NBA during the regular season.

As great as Nikola Jokic it is, the nuggets don't have enough depth to go at night with this thunder team, which is at the defensive end of the floor elite (No. 1 in the defensive assessment during the regular season).

OKC is also elite as a street favorite that goes 23-14-2 against the spread.

The thunder stood in two digits for a good part of game 1 and dominated game 2. This price is short enough so that the beders can trust them in game 3 on the street.

Donovan Mitchell over 29.5 points (-120)

Mitchell was asked to carry the goal charging for the Cavs, with Darius Garland and Evan Mobley beaten up, and its use is from the charts.

Mitchell made 30 shots in each of his games in this series and scored 2 33 points in game 1 and 48 points in game. He was able to get into the line in game 2 for 21 free throwing attempts.

I expect another strong workload for Mitchell on Friday, especially since the CAVs are in a scenario of profit. Mitchell has four games with 30 or more points in this post -season, and the only reason why he did not clarify these props in the last two games against Miami was that the CAVs were doing so much.

In a narrower game, Mitchell will get up all the shots that he can master on Friday evening.

The chances of winning refresh regularly and can change.
