Bengal's' Evan McPherson reveals injury -update

Of the many things that went wrong for the Cincinnati Bengals last year, the performance and injury problems for kicker Evan McPherson were an important point.

Back of injuries and preparations for 2025, McPherson opened the violation of last year and how he changes things to prevent further problems.

According to Charlie Clifford from WLWT, McPherson said reporters that his official injury was to his torn adductor Magnus last year.

“Some people train before the games really fire their muscles and are ready to go. I have the feeling that I could use more of it,” said McPherson, according to Geoff Hobson from Bengals.com. “Don't fatigue your muscles before playing and practicing, but actually wake up. It is the balance. You have to find out what works best for you.”

McPherson, who is 26 years old, is an encouraging sign for players and teams.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the changes McPherson keep better on the field. But it is all in the kicker spot when he joins the first year of his three-year expansion, which was signed in 2024.
