New athletes from the prairie students who are involved in a serious accident with four vehicles canceled games

Laport County, in (WSBT) – An accident with four vehicles occurred in La Porte County with two school buses.

The students in these buses were student athletes, and these buses came from the New Prairie United School Corporation.

Four people were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The scene was with us 20 and Road fell shortly after 4:15 Thursday afternoon. This is between Rolling Prairie and Michigan City.

A new prairie mini bus was hit by an Enterprise boxing truck, and another new prairie mini bus was on the side.

The Sheriff's office of La Porte County confirmed that these buses transported members of a sports team.

In the hours since then, contributions have flooded the social media of parents in the school district to support the new Prairie JV Baseball team, which was planned for a game in Hobart on Thursday evening.

Both this meeting and the university game were canceled by the school district on Thursday afternoon.

Despite the widespread social media contributions, the police do not confirm which sports team from New Prairie Schools is involved.

The sheriff's office also said that the crash as a criminal matter is examined that the protocol is for an incident of this size.
