Iihf World Championship 2025: data, schedule, TV channels, live streams, points for hockey tournaments

Sixteen nations will compete for gold at the IIHF World Cup 2025.

The teams are divided into two groups of eight groups A and Group B and will compete in a round-robin format to determine which teams are progressing to the quarter-finals. From there, the tournament follows a single elimination format to the gold medal game.

Could this be the year in which Team USA finally grabs its series? The Americans have not won a gold medal at the IIHF World Cup since 1933, although they have achieved the game of the bronze medal in three of the last four tournaments.

In the last two tournaments, six medals were awarded to six different teams. The Czech Republic won the gold last year, with Switzerland and Sweden taking silver and bronze home.

Here is everything you need to know about the view of the 2025 IIHF World Cup, including television and streaming information for the entire tournament.
