The go-home edition of Smackdown in front of the WWE setbacks should offer a lot.

John Cena returns to the Blue Brand on Saturday before a huge showdown with Randy Orton. The two enemies will play in their 22nd television game in WWE. Cena has a considerable advantage in series history because it is 13-7-1 against “The Apex Predator”.

What will he have to say before the legendary superstars meet one last time in the middle of the ring? Will Orton answer to Cena with another RKO? Or will it be cena?

No matter how it unfolds, it is a must change.

In the meantime, two newer rivals will come together for an opportunity for their own championship goals.

Jade Cargill and Nia Jax go to Toe Toe for the second time in a singles match. Her first match was almost a year ago when Jax Cargill defeated in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament in 2024 by disqualification.

Jax explained that she will go back the title that she lost to Stratton at the beginning of this year, but Cargill should enter the ring a lot of confidence after achieving an impressive Pinfall victory against Jax in Tag Team action at Smackdown of the past week.

Elsewhere there are several explosive elements in the game when Damian Priest and La Knight against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in Tag Team action.

The tensions went up between all four men on Smackdown. Priest and Knight fought against an inventory last week after Sikoa interfered to attack priests, and Fatu finally picked out priests and knights.

Of course there was also indications of a crack between Sikoa and Fatu, which could give this match even more tension.

And none of them should forget the potential wild card in Drew McINTYRE, which will compete against Priest, Knight and Fatu in a fatal 4-way game for WWE United States Championship at Backlash.

Here is everything we know about today's episode of Friday Night Smackdown in Dayton:

John Cena Smackdown

Wwe.com

Cena returns to Smackdown one night before defending the undisputed WWE championship against Randy Orton. The “last real champion” will probably be spent much overnight because he is preparing to enter an enemy territory in St. Louis on Saturday for a last showdown with his longstanding rival. Will Cena have any tricks in his sleeve to win the upper hand after the controversial victory at Wrestlemania 41 in his first title defense? Or will the three most dangerous words in the professional wrestling – RKO – be outstanding again?

Jacob Fatu Smackdown

Wwe.com

FATU will defend the United States Championship against Priest, La Knight, and Drew Mcintyre in a deadly 4-way game at Backlash, and he wants to enter the excited showdown with even more momentum. Of course, he has to be on the same side with Sikoa, and due to the recent tension between the two, this can be easier than done. The same applies to priests and knights who also had their problems with each other on the way to the counter reaction.

Jade Cargill Nia Jax Smackdown

Wwe.com

In Smackdown last week, Cargill worked with the current WWE women's master Tiffany Stratton to defeat Jax and Naomi. Cargill achieved the pin on Jax in this game, but she has to do it again to get an opportunity for Stratton's title. However, since Naomi was still looking for revenge on Cargill for her friendship with Bianca Belair, she was able to play a role in denying the up -and -coming superstar at WWE Singles Gold.
