I would like to talk to you about a technology that turns over how we combat financial crime – a technology that not only brings speed and scaling, but is also a bit unexpected: human expertise. I'm talking about digital twins.

At a time when financial institutions are exposed to increasing pressure on pressure – from the regulatory expectations to the mere volume of warning messages, which are generated by systems such as transaction monitoring and sanctions screening, the models for traditional conformity models burden under weight. They are expensive, often inefficient and still leave space for risks. We need a new paradigm.
