Kevin O'Connor's two-round NBA-Mock design conjures up trouble

The Washington Wizards go into the low season and share the same dream as the rest of the teams in the NBA: Find a way to land Cooper Flag.

However, Washington is in a very best position to actually transform this dream than 26 other teams in the league, considering that they are connected to the Utah Jazz and the Charlotte Hornets to get the highest percentage to achieve number 1 in the overall selection.

At the same time, the Wizards brought late profit and final game heroic heroes in the regular season finale to see that their dreams may become a nightmare and possibly fall out of the top 5.

In Kevin O'Connor's most recent two-round mock design for Yahoo Sports, he put together what I would consider as the absolutely worst scenario for Washington Come Draft Night.

Round 1, selection 6: C Khaman Maluach, Duke

The idea that the five-star recruits in this upcoming design class would make a former recruit of five-star is all Wizards fans who were hoping for … when this player Cooper Flag could hope. For many, however, it would be disappointing for many to select Khaman Maluach to 6th place.

Not because Maluach is definitely a bad player. But he is not the kind of player that they are excited to see themselves unless they like to look at the defense.

Maluach is a raw talent, and with 7-foot-2 he has the versatility to be a fun player alongside Alex Sarr. However, he started playing basketball at the age of 13, so that he is not as polished as the other top prospects that the wizards could consider, especially in a Guard-heavy draft.

Round 1, selection 18: G Nolan Traore, Saint Quentin

Nolan Traore is a good selection in this choice, but for development pure. He has the potential to become a solid player, if not for the magicians, but while his blanket is high, his floor is also quite low.

The guard is sporty with a quick outbreak, but it is a very inefficient goal scorer, and when the wizards open it, there is a chance that you will blow this draft as a whole.

Round 2, selection: 42: C Johni Broome, Auburn

Johni Broome is a solid choice in the second round, but after it went into the first place in the first Maluach, it is a kind of puzzling to give the mix another big man, especially for a Wizards team that has the potential to take several steps before next year, including Jordan Poole, possibly.

If the wizards Jeremiah fears or Tre Johnson finished 6th, this choice would be much more sense.
