“Use that to the best of strength”

Cincinnati – Demetrius Knight Jr. is ready to show fans in the coming season after a change from quarterback to the linebacker in the field.

Knight was a QB with two threats when he wrote to Georgia Tech from the High School for the first time. Now he is a heat-booked rocket on the LB spot. Cincinnati chose him with the 49th election in the NFL design of 2025.

“I was a quarterback all my life. That was what I would do in the NFL,” said Knight in a social media video from Bengals. “And when LineBacker said at the end of my name, the best switch for me was.”

Knight ran an impressive 4.58 40-yard fittings board on the 2025 NFL Combine and checked in in the class of NFL.com from NFL.com.

Bengal's fans hope that this quickly translates from the experienced player.

“I still have this quarterback speed,” said Knight. “I also use this to the best of our strength to hide different things for quarterbacks because I know what they are looking for. But I also developed the mentality to hunt. I still bring the energy because I think if they bring great energy around them, people feed themselves.”
