According to the reports that Apple could add a camera to its Apple Watch line -up in the future, a new report can be started by 2027.

Previously, it was announced that Apple is planning a large upgrade to its best Apple watches to transform it into a device with integrated cameras. The report stated that Apple Watch onboard cameras and microphones would use that “would help the device to see the outside world and provide relevant information with AI”.

The same source, Mark Gurman von Bloomberg, says that the chip that carries the device could only be 18 months away. “The company develops a chip called Nevis for the Apple Watch equipped by the camera and a component called Glenie for the similarly equipped AirPods,” wrote Gurman in his latest power on the newsletter. “Apple wants to have these chips ready around 2027,” he continued.
