Highlights from Purdue Softball against Ohio State in Big Ten Tourney

West Lafayette, ind. – Purdue had a slow start against Ohio State in the big ten softball tournament in the quarter -final game on Thursday evening. But how the old clichรฉ works is not the way you start, it is as you are done.

The boiler also ended strongly. After the Boilermakers bats had given up four runs in the first inn, they were brought to life in the fourth inning and remained hot in the rest of the game.

It was a total team performance for the boilers in the Bittinger stage on Thursday. Maura Condon led the way with three RBI, while Alivia Meeks, Kyndall Bailey and Kylie Frank had two RBI. Julia Gossett and Delaney Refe each had one.

Pitcher Kendall Klocack came into play for relief, but entered the game in the first inning. She ended the competition with 6.1 Innerings and only gave up two runs with three goals. The senior had eight strikes and just a walk.

With the victory, Purdue will play in the semi -finals Michigan on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. The game is broadcast in the big ten network. Here are some of the highlights from the big victory on Thursday:
