Woman who was killed in HWY 28 East in the 3-vehicle accident

Rapides Parish, La. (Calf) – A woman from Acme, Louisiana, was killed in the Rosen Road in the Rosen Road in an accident with three vehicles in HWY 28.

LSP said 33 -year -old Gretchen A. Lucas drove a Honda pilot from 2019 at HWY 28 East on May 8th, when she was not slower when a Peterbilt tried to turn the Rosen Road left. Lucas ended Peterbil and led him to enter the western lane.

Lucas' Honda was again hit by a Freightliner in a western direction in 2020.

Lucas wore a seat belt, but had fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of Peterbilt wore a seat belt and had no injuries. The Freighlin driver also wore a seat belt and had moderate injuries and brought to a local hospital for treatment.
