Prince Harry is faced with a charity scandal when terrible human rights violations were confirmed

Prince Harry has another great charity in his hands as African parks, a charity with which he is connected to, has admitted that his Rangers committed human rights violations in Congo-Bazzaville.

This happened after a bomb's report published in January claimed that the rangers of the charity beat the locals, watered and raped to keep them away from the main forests.

Now the charity has published a long explanation, showing that they examined the claims of Omnia Strategy, a law firm based in London, and found that human rights violations have actually taken place. In her statement, however, Prince Harry was not mentioned or suggested that he was aware of the crimes of the Rangers.

The charity organization stated in its lengthy explanation: “African parks admit that human rights violations occurred in some incidents, and we deeply regret the pain and suffering that was caused by the victims. There is no place for abuse in the name of preservation.”

She continued: “The examination of Omnia also emphasized some failures of our systems and processes that were not sufficient for the level of responsibility, especially in the early years of our management of Odzala. We strive to correct these questions and to ensure the protection of human rights in our operations.

They also promised to take measures against the Rangers who committed human rights violations and said: “Especially in Odzala, we will take measures against employees who had been involved in previously unknown incidents, or those that had not been treated appropriately, whereby we were not treated appropriately, with sufficient evidence available. Second human rights evaluation as a follow-up in the study, which was carried out in 2021.”

Prince Harry was President of African Parks for five years. He resigned in 2023 and became a board member.
