SPD officer on leave for posting videos with racist slur

Shreveport, La. (KSLA) – An official of the Shreveport Police Department was transferred to administrative holidays because he allegedly published a video on social media that contains a racist slur.

The video was highlighted on Thursday, May 8th, Dominick Izzo, who heads a blog site called Cop Talk Live. He says his goal is to change the “policeman culture”.

In Izzo's video, he asks the SPD boss Wayne Smith to deal with the language used, and question whether this civil servant can polish their community quite a bit in view of the language in the video.
