After hit the vehicle, the driver dies in Midland's crash

Sumter County, SC (WIS) – The authorities said that a driver died on Thursday after he had hit a parked vehicle and then a tree in the Midlands.

The Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the wreck was taking place around 3:25 p.m. in the Pinewood Road area near the Gwendale Road.

According to Ridgeway, a 1998 Nissan pickup was legally parked on the Pinewood Road shoulder when it was cleaned by a 2000 GMC pickup on the side. The GMC collection then ran from the right street and hit a tree.

The GMC driver was taken to a hospital where they died later.

No further details were available.
