Hass crash attacks on a transgender woman examined by LAPD

Police detectives in Los Angeles ask the public for help with the search for several suspects, which were associated with repeated hate crimes against a transgender woman in Westlake quarters of the city.

The agency published photos of the three suspects on Monday in the hope of identifying the men. Detectives also said that there may be additional victims that they hoped that they would report.

At the beginning of this month, one of the suspects supposedly sexually attacked the 61-year-old woman after she had rejected his progress in her Westlake business, LAPD officials said in a press release. When he discovered that she was transgender, the suspect “withdrew and threatened to kill the victim” before he left.
