IIHF World Championships 2025: Denmark against USA hockey score, live updates

All eyes are on the 88th IIHF Eishockey World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden, as some of the best hockey players in the world, including many NHL stars who have not inflicted the playoffs, return to the colors of their nation.

This tournament organizes the best hockey players in the world because they represent their home country for a chance of a gold medal on the world stage. It also creates another chance for an international spectacle between two hockey power houses, the USA and Canada, such as those at the 4 National and World Juniors tournaments at the beginning of this year.

The team USA is with some names with which they are familiar, including Columbus' Zach Werenski and Brady Skjei on the blue line, not to mention Joey Daccord and Jeremey Swayman as options between the pipes for the Americans.

There is no better time of the year to be a hockey fan with the Stanley Cup playoffs of the NHL, the AHL playoffs, the Playoffs from Echl, the Kelly Cup playoffs from Echl and the IIHF World Championships that start at one time.
