2 injured after a 4-vehicle accident in the south side with 18-wheels along the Interstate 35, says SAPD

SAN ANTONIO -The police in San Antonio said two people, including a 76-year-old woman, were injured in a crash on Thursday morning, who closed the Interstate 35 in both directions.

The crash started shortly before Thursday at 11.45 a.m. on the Interstate 35 to the south near the New Laredo Highway and the Somerset Road.

In a report published on Friday on Friday, civil servants, an 18-bare Freightliner with 18-wheels on the southern lanes of Interstate 35 in the back of a Kenworth 18 bike, said to the south.

After the first crash, the authorities said that the Freightliner crossed the grassy median of the Interstate before crashing into a Dodge Caravan and a GMC Arcadia in the northern tracks of the I-35.

The police said that the driver of the Freightliner and a 76-year-old woman in the GMC Arcadia were taken to a local hospital. According to SAPD, both suffered non -life -threatening injuries.

The department said their investigation was not completed.
