High School in the second year dies after an injury in the Lacrosse game

An athlete of the high school in Ohio died with university after injuries during a lacrosse match. The school district of Bay Village City tells USA TODAY This Dylan Veselic (16), a second year in the Bay High School in Bay Village, outside of Cleveland, died on Thursday, two days after he was injured during a game in Olmsted Fall. Witnesses in the game tell WKYC that a player in the opposing team tried to score a goal and Dylan went to block him, but that the ball hit the exposed part in the back of Dylan's head under his helmet.

Woio reports that the Ems workers Dylan transported from the game to the hospital, even though he was later taken to a medical center in the city center of Cleveland. The teenager initially became critical after an emergency operation, but on Thursday morning his team said about social media: “Dylan died from his injuries to the game on Tuesday.”

The superintendent of the district, Scot Prebles, called Dylan a “committed student and athlete”, while the district's athletics chief also praised the teenager. “Dylan was an amazing student who always wore a smile on his face while he supported his teammates,” says Matt Spellman USA TODAY. “He was friendly, hardworking and committed and consistently showed leadership, empathy and a positive attitude both in the field and in the classroom.” Dylan's family now gave an explanation in which he thanked all the well -wishers and found that they “deeply touched by the overwhelming support and friendliness of our community and beyond”.
