Security survey 2025 emphasizes improvements and challenges

Threads of Life published the Survey of Safety State of Safety State of Safety and gave insights into health, security and intellectual well -being at the workplace in all of Canada. The survey is carried out among Canadian business owners, hiring managers and decision -makers and shows that some obstacles to improve security in the workplace decrease but there are significant challenges.

The survey, which collected answers between February 27 and March 11, 2025, shows a decline in factors that hinder the security protocols, including the occupation and costs for security training. Despite these improvements, 42% of those surveyed state that the psychological challenges among employees give increasing challenges for mental health. Among the understaffed workplaces, 74% have difficulty reducing the stress of employees, pointing out that lack of staff remains a critical problem.

“Many obstacles for improving security are shrinking, but we deal with the volatility of external factors,” says Eugene Gutierrez, Managing Director of Threads of Life, with regard to economic turbulence caused by US President Donald Trump and global tariffs. “Health and security are often cut first in difficult times. These results should trigger conversations and continued efforts to make security and well -being priority, regardless of the climate.”
