5 murderous clowns that can look after 'Clown in A Cornfield',

We were lucky enough to catch Clown in a corn field At SXSW this year and since then clowns in the brain. This made me think about all the clowns that follow the horror genre on the screen (and on social media). So I went down a never -ending rabbit hole in which I visited many creepy clowns. The species from space, the risen and even a clown that kills in an opera house. This also introduced me to other titles in this dark subgenre. Basically, I glued around the whole week and brought them back a streaming guide.

Here are 5 clown horror films that you might want to check when you enjoy your time Clown in a corn field This weekend. Welcome to the Big Chop!

The clown at midnight (Dir. Jean Peller)

Where you can see: Prime Video, The Roku Channel and Tubi

A group of teenagers works to reopen an opera house in which one of her mothers was murdered years ago. Your plans will soon be interrupted when a murderous clown follows her. This film from 1998 has a lot going on and most things are not good. However, there are late legends by Christopher Plummer and Margot Kidder in some ridiculous roles. These are the two names that bring this almost forgotten film to my radar. It also has Tatyana Ali, who plays the role of the black best friend, which is a big departure from her time nearby The fresh prince of Bel-Air. So if you are as serious as I do to seek more killer clowns, the line -up alone helps this slasher.

The Funhouse massacre (Dir. Andy Palmer)

Where you can see: peacocks, plex, prime video, Roku channel, sling TV and tubi

Six psychopaths break out of an asylum and immediately terrorize the amount of a Halloween -Funhouse. The Funhouse massacre Arkham gives asylum patients who are relaxed in a local haunted house. Most of us met the game because we heard that Robert Englund would be there. When he became one of the first victims, we were surprised. However, this murderous pack includes Jere Burns and Clint Howard, so it is difficult to look away. While I thought there was more clowns here due to make-up decisions, but it seems like Rocco, the clown (Mars Crain), the really cold-flowered clown of this film. The former professional wrestler is the most intimidation of the team. He could also be the clown on this list that visited most of the armage in the gym. If you like a little blood and violence in your films, it is definitely a clown to keep an eye.

It (Dir. Andy Muschietti)

Where you can see: Max

A group of bullied children tries to destroy a dark creature that disguises itself as a clown. Leave it to one of the most cult clowns in horror history to be the one from an adaptation of Stephen King. Bill SkarsgÄrd had to fill some large clown shoes when he entered this role. However, he delivered the stuff of the nightmares, and that's why we keep returning to this hellish circus. On the way, there is a fairly outstanding line -up of children's actors under the direction of Jaeden Martell and Finn Wolfhard. Not only It Adjust this topic perfectly, but it's also my favorite title on the list. The miniseries It (1990) Under the direction of Tommy Lee Wallace, VoD and a review is worth. I don't have a bad time when PennyWise is on the screen, and I hope that continues Welcome to Derry.

Killerklowns from space (Dir. Stephen Chiodo)

Where you can see: Pluto TV and Tubi

When a comet crashes in a sleepy little city, the community is affected by murderous aliens that look like clowns. This film is the first title that most of us think about when we think of the Killer Clown Cinema. It is also not only because these boys had dump trucks. Most of us have good memories of discovering this lovable and ridiculous B-movie in our youth. When we were children, every horror film was the goal and this science fiction horror comedy was fun. We keep these creatures and their deadly Shenanigans close to our hearts because they remind us of simpler times. Therefore the last year of last year Killer Klowns from space: the game Was one of the most expected games for nostalgic millennials. Unfortunately, the game did not meet our expectations. However, the film is still a damn good time if you want a clown activity.

Stitches (Dir. Conor McMahon)

Where you can see: Fandango at home, Philo, Plex, Prime Video, Sling TV and Tubi

After a clown had died at a children's birthday party, he returns years later to punish the children he blamed for his premature death. I was too late for the party with this horror comedy, but I'm here now. This European Slasher attracted my attention with a dark humor, an impressive first kill and a separated penis. I take penis mutilation very seriously and squeaked with joy when I asked myself whether this would be one of my new favorite clowns. While Stitches The Dead Clown has many more party tricks and some funny kills for this shoe budget, the Peen scene convinced me. I am surprised how much fun I had with this silly little film. I find Stitch Should definitely be on your list if you want something delightful and bloody.

So send the clowns because you now have some homework. I can also be so brave that I can do a recommendation for Dread Central's Circus of the dead. If there is space in the large top, of course.

Clown in a corn field Fall in the cinemas on May 9th.

Let me know if you push these films into the clown car that keeps your observation list this week. You can find me in the circus tent on Bluesky!
