The cause of death for the former offensive lineman of Ohio State, Ben Christman, was revealed as a heart disease, according to the Coroner's Office of Clark County.

It was shown that it was a cardiomyopathy and cardiac arrhythmia, an irregular heartbeat, caused Christmas Man's death on February 11th.

Christman prepared to play his last season of College football at UNLV after spending two seasons in Columbus and two in Kentucky before he was found dead in his apartment in Las Vegas. According to the Courier Journal, Christman reported pain in chest pain the day before his death, but there was no evidence of heart problems in the EKG, which he was subjected to.

“The heart of our team is broken to hear from Ben's death,” said Dan Mullen, head coach of UNLV, after Christman's death. “Since the day on which Ben entered our campus a month ago, he has made the rebels a better program. Ben was a simple choice for our management committee because he deserved the immediate respect, admiration and friendship of all of his teammates. Our prayers go to his family and everyone who knew him. Ben made the world a better place and he is missing.”
