Moundville Man dies in the Bibb County Crash and flees from the police

A man from Moundville is dead after he fled from the police in a sports car, the soldiers of the state of Alabama confirmed.

Corporal Regional King, a spokesman for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency in this region, said that an official of the Brent Police Department tried to pull Dodge Hornet on Saturday evening when the driver was absorbed.

King identified the driver as Willie T. Wills, a 44-year-old man from Moundville.

Soldiers say that Wills have fallen into a GMC Arcadia from 2019, which was driven by a 41-year-old man from Brent.

King said that Wills was not wearing a seat belt and was declared dead at the scene.

The other driver and two young people in his vehicle were both taken to the hospital for injuries, which they had suffered during the crash.

King said that the crash took place in Bibb County on the Alabama Highway 5 near the 84 -mile brand, about two miles south of Brent.

No further details were available on Friday.
