Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco told the Denver post On Friday, May 2, that the law enforcement authorities had found “nothing”, which indicates criminal activities during the incident. “This seems to be a terrible accident,” Bianco told the post office and noticed that “a couple” of the persons involved in the incident are “very top -class celebrities”.

“And this makes it more of a problem than it should be,” said Bianco at the time and found that his department received a “massive media examination” after the news was broken. “We do everything we can to ensure that it is what it seems to be and only an accident,” he added.

Equipment inspections were carried out on the golf car, said Bianco on May 2, to rule out every possibility of a malfunction that led to the fall of Sperbeck. He also said that it is “usual practice for medical staff” to call the sheriff “because something doesn't look right.” But in this incident, Bianco said: “This was not the case.”
