Older man seriously injured in Phelps County Motorcycle Crash

Columbia, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 74-year-old man from Black, Missouri, was seriously injured in a crash on Wednesday at the intersection of Route D and County Road 9000 in Phelps County.

The report states that the crash took place in 1998 when Yamaha motorcycle drove west when it went off the right street and hit a power supply rod. The man was wearing a helmet, the report says.

According to the report, the man was flown to the Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The bike had minor damage.

MSHP reports do not name those involved in crashes.
