No. 15 Tennessee Baseball against No. 11 Vanderbilt Score, updates the first game

No. 15 Tennessee Baseball (38-11, 14-10 seconds) will fight on Friday in the first game of the first series with three games in Knoxville against Vanderbilt Commodores No. 11 (34-15, 14-10 seconds).

The first pitch in the Lindsey Nelson Stadium takes place at 5:30 p.m. ET in the SEC network.

All three games will be broadcast this weekend. ESPN2 will have the program for games two and three.

Tennessee enters the game in the second game. The Vols have dropped four of the last five series and three directly at home, a premiere in Tony Vitello era.

The recent fights by Tennessee increase the importance of Vanderbilt series in connection with the post -season. However, a series victory would ensure that Tennessee will organize a NCAA region, while a series loss could give the Vols a series -Weep defeat in Arkansa's next week before hosting bubble.

Offensive fights were the main culprit of Tennesses Skid, but the Bullpen was also not great. While Tony Vitello continues to tinker with Tennessee in order to improve on the plate, a lot of pressure on the bullpen was exerted to keep Tennessee in games with a low score.

After a disappointing series loss against Auburn last weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee looked much better in a 12-1 victory during the week in the state of Indiana. The Vols crushed four Homer and looked like their own. We will see whether UT can maintain the dynamics this weekend.

The defeat of the Auburn series dropped Tennessee in the latest D1 baseball top 25 survey in 15th place three places.

The Commodores enter the series with the same 14-10 second record like Tennessee, but they did it differently. Vanderbilt swept three opponents and was swept by another. You changed victories and losses of the series last six weekends and last weekend you have an exciting victory for the home series against Alabama.

Vanderbilt has a strong pitching staff. Sawyer Hawks published a 1.26 ERA in 35.2 Innerings from the Bullpen and Alex Kranzler published an ERA of 3.38 ERA in 32 Innerings.

Vanderbilt has an overwhelming insult again. The Commodores rank in a basic percentage and outside the 150 best percentage top 15 national international in the top 180. But there are a few bats to know. Riley Nelson meets 17 additional hits .361. Brodie Johnson blew up a team bar 10 Homeruns and 25 extra base hits.

The most worrying for Tennessee is how often Vanderbilt bases steal. RJ Austin has 20, Jacob Humphrey 16, Rustan Rigdon 14 and Mike Mancini 13th Tennessee Pitcher largely struggle with runners as soon as they enter into.

Tennessee has dominated the series in the last three seasons against its competitor in the States after winning 10 of the 12 meetings between the two in this period, including nine victories in a row before dropping the series finale in Nashville last season.

The Vols and Commodores were five times in Hoover last year. UT went 3-2 in these games, including a 6: 4 victory in the Sec Tournament semi-final on the way to win his second conference title in three years.

Notes for injuries/availability

RHP AJ Russell has to deal with a bladder and was not listed as a more likely starter for Sunday. We will see how serious it is and whether he is still able this weekend.

In the second game against Kentucky a foul ball unfortunately met Tennessee Relief Pitcher Tanner Wiggins in the mouth. Tony Vitello said that there were teeth that were involved in Wiggins' injury, and the second year was then operated on his jaw.

Doyle Bump Day. The feeling that on Fridays there is a must for Tennessee to win a series.
Thompson was mostly solid this season. Pissed against Uga a little ago and only allowed one run in 8.0 IP on 120 parking spaces.
- But then there was an Auburn in 4.1 IP vs. Auburn two weeks ago. Can be dominant or mediocre, but if he expects Vandy to ride him.
