It is unlikely that the Apple Watch Series will get 11 blood oxygen monitoring
The other rumored features do not feel interesting enough for me
That means I will probably skip the upgrade this year

The Apple Watch Series 11 is probably about six months after the start, but rumors about their new functions were only a few and far apart. At the moment I have trouble seeing a reason to update my Apple Watch Series 10 – even if you take into account the latest rumors.

Here are five reasons why I can give the Apple Watch Series 11 a passport, from a lack of new functions to unsuspecting additions.

The latest delicacies around the series 11 comes from Bloomberg Reporter Mark Gurman, who says that there is no sign that Apple will restore a blood oxygen -detector system into its upcoming smartwatch.

If you missed it, Apple had to deactivate this function after a controversial patent dispute. But if Gurman – who has a strong track balance for Apple Leaks – that it cannot return soon, this is one reason less for me to improve an upgrade later this year.

5G and satellite confectionality

The Apple Watch Ultra is the more robust (and expensive) version of the regular Apple Watch and often receives high-end functions before another watch output. This could be the case again this year if the rumors are correct, whereby both 5G and satellite conference may come to the ultra. However, series 11 is expected to miss.

I would really be interested in satellite conference in particular, because I would contact the outside world if I were to be in the wilderness without a signal. But at 799 US dollars, the Apple Watch Ultra is outside of my budget – and with these functions, which supposedly skip the series 11, this is another reason for me to give it a pass.

Apple Intelligence

Apple Intelligence has not yet set the world on fire, and although I have it on my iPhone and Mac, I hardly find it. And since some of the best Apple Intelligence functions are delayed, there is not much incentive to use them regularly.

This means that even if the Apple Watch Series 11 is equipped with an Apple Intelligence upgrade, it is unlikely that it will convince me to upgrade unless there is a big change in the skills. At the moment I like to get out.

New colors

Occasionally, Apple brings a new Apple Watch color to light, and this will be presented again this year. Although the new colors were generally quite likeable, the problem is that they never seem to influence me.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Jet Black Apple Watch Series 10 looked beautiful and the Deep Blue Series 7 model also noticed. Nevertheless, I always chose the silver aluminum clock versions because this color fits so many watch tapes. Even if Apple is launching a new color this year, I would probably still decide the silver thanks to its flexibility.

The Apple Watch has become an excellent instrument for health and fitness, and it is cleverly to warn it when your health metrics start showing worrying signs. This could get another thrust this year if blood pressure monitoring comes into the Apple Watch Series 11, how rumored was.

My problem is not with this function itself, because I think it is worth it. The problem is that I don't think this function is sufficient to seduce me to upgrade. With all the other characteristics that I haven't done enough for myself, it is unlikely that blood pressure warnings alone will be able to tip the scale.
