1 person killed, another injured in Toms River stabbing

The public prosecutor says that one person was fatally stabbed in the Adams Avenue in Toms River.

The Ocean County public prosecutor says that at least one person was stabbed in a house around 7:20 a.m. and died later. Sources of law enforcement provide news 12 that there were two victims.

The video by The Lakewood Scoop shows an officer with a broken weapon and a suspect on the floor in the middle of the main traffic on the Whitesville Road near the border between Jackson.

Sources say that these incidents are related and that the police know the suspect.

The Ocean County's office published a 911 call from the incident in Adams Avenue. In this call, an officer of the Seaside Park Class II can hear with a dispatcher.

“I don't know him, I just found it. I am a Seaside Park Class II (officer). I take out coffee in Quickchek. I need Ems here,” said the official on call.

Outside of shipping, the officer said that the 31-year-old male victim in the upper left chest area, breathing and waking up.

A witness tells News 12 that you have heard, which sounded like a single shot. In addition to the stabbing, the investigators did not comment on the possible shootout.
