Apple Watch SE 3 can receive new display sizes

Apple works on an updated version of the inexpensive Apple Watch SE, and the displays for the new model have entered production according to display Analyst Ross Young.

Young says that the new ‌Aplle Watch SE‌ 3 with 1.6-inch and 1.8-inch display sizes will be available, which is hardly upgraded to upgrade via the current ‌apple Watch SE‌ models. The ‌apple Watch SE‌ 2 is equipped in 40 mm and 44 mm size options, and Apple could adhere to these sizes for the next generation models.

Historically, the ‌apple Watch SE‌ is based on an existing Apple Watch model, and the current version is based on the Apple Watch Series 6. Apple could continue with another model based on the design of the series 6, but there are other options. The display sizes could be somewhat exposed to rounding problems, and Apple could plan a larger design of the series 7 with 41 mm and 45 mm sizes, or the new ‌Aplle Watch SE‌ could get a completely new design.

There were rumors that Apple worked on a ‌apple Watch SE‌ with a hard plastic housing in a variety of funny colors, although it is not clear whether Apple has followed this design plan. If Apple has chosen an SE-design that follows the non-existent Apple Watch models, it is possible that the ‌apple Watch SE‌ 1.6 and 1.8-inch displays in a smaller, unloaded chassis that is closer to 38 mm and 42 mm size options can have. In this scenario, the next ‌Aplle Watch Se‌ would be smaller than the current ‌apple Watch SE‌, but with a larger display area and slimmer bezels for a more modern look.

Apple has marketed the ‌Aplle Watch SE‌ as an inexpensive option for children, so that a smaller ‌apple Watch SE‌ 3 seems plausible because it would better match smaller wrists.
