Already in February, Primus officially announced that John Hoffman would become her new drummer who would be a eighth musician to take over the kit, which was previously covered by Tim “Herb” Alexander to the bass player/singer Les Claypool and guitarist Larry “Ler” “Ler”. Hoffman-Jetzt lovingly referred to as Hoffington by the “Primus Interstellar Drum Derby”, an inventive and matching strange audition process, which the band shared in videos behind the scenes, classified the prestigious contribution about the “Primus Interstellar Drum Derby”.

Today the band shared the 12th and last part of the finalist review process: a special hour-long patting situation between Hoffman and the enormously credited and recognized Hungarian percussionist Gergő Borlai. The incoming view of how Primus is characterized by his new configuration interviews with all musicians, casual conversations and of course some explosive performances. In addition, Fred Armisen returns to repeat his role in the series of series production, and Bob Odenkirk stops in the kit for the first time.

Primus will return to the stage tomorrow, May 10, to get involved in Charlotte, the PNC Music Pavilion of NC. The extensive summer tour of the Volume 41 stop “Onward & Upward” will continue with special guests Ty Segall and Mononeon until August 8th. Find tickets and more information at Primusville.com.
