Two children among the injured in the fatal crash of Putnam County

Cookeville, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two children are among those who were injured in Putnam County in a fatal accident on Wednesday, according to the provisional report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

THP said that a Ford focus on the US 70 North drove to the east near the West Gate Drive, and a Chrysler Pacifica drove west when the Ford reported the double yellow line and collided head-on with the Chrysler.

The Ford then went from the right side of the street and came to an end. After the collision, the Chrysler left the side of the road, turned and held on the driver's side, sometimes blocking the vests of 70n, said THP.
