Rajon Rondo graduates of the University of Kentucky after completing his studies

Rajon Rondo is officially a graduate of Kentucky – 20 years after playing there. On Friday, the retired guard and the former wildcat received its diploma after completing his Bachelor's degree and received a BA in communication.

Rondo's name was included in a list of student graduates published on Thursday by the school's sports department. The four-time NBA All-Star is one of seven athletes who have returned to school to end their bachelor's degree after their justification has already fallen.

Rondo played for Kentucky from 2004 to 2006 before declaring the NBA design and foregoing his remaining justification. The guard began his career at the Boston Celtics and spent eight seasons there before he hoped between a series of teams and in the meantime earned two championships with the Celtics and 2020 at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Rondo played his last season 2022 in the NBA and officially withdrew from sport in 2024.

The conclusion of Kentucky takes place all weekend, with additional opening ceremonies take place on Saturday.
