Goose Creek Woman identified as a victim in the fatal crash on the North Highway 17a

Berkley County, SC (WCIV) – The 38-year-old victim of a fatal crash on Friday morning at the North Highway 17a was identified by the forensic doctor of Berkeley County.

Rashida Z. Dash from Goose Creek drove a Chevy limousine to the south on the North Highway 17a in Goose Creek in 2017 when the car hit a tree around 4:14 a.m., the law enforcement authorities said.

Dash did not wear a seat belt at the time of the crash. A second passage in the car was brought to a regional hospital for treatment, but its status is unknown to the public.

Rescue workers from Berkeley County Ems, the sheriff office of the Berkeley County and East Berkeley Fire & Rescue arrived at the scene. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Coroner's Office of the Berkeley County continue the investigation.
