Anaheim, California – The Manager Brandon Hyde had hoped to get Infielder Jordan Westburg with the Orioles, but that must wait. Westburg, which is on the 10-day injured list with a tense left Achstring, planned to play with Triple-A Norfolk in rehabilitation this weekend.

“The Hammy still bothers him a little,” said Hyde. “We had to push him back for a few days.”

There is a chance in Westburg that went on April 27th on the ILTHwill play in rehab playing “Later next week”.

Another infielder, Ramón Urías, whose right thigh injury also sent him to the IL, could perhaps return next week.

“Ramón is doing really well,” said Hyde. “Westy could be behind him for a few days.”

Tyler O'Neill has returned from his stay on the injured list. He will play sixth against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday evening and play the right field. He played two rehab games with Norfolk to ensure that his sore throat no longer hindered him. He released a week and didn't work.

“It was something I managed over the course of the year,” said O'Neill. “I looked through for a week where it was a really difficult time, just to move … especially to look at my links. It gave me a lot of grief. It just didn't go away. Our medical staff thought it would be best to take some time and turn off the inflammation, and I feel much better now.”

O'Neill wants to give the 13-23 Orioles a spark after five consecutive losses.

“I don't like to miss games,” said O'Neill. “I would like to be in the cast with these boys and to tell how I can. I'm glad I am now. Unfortunately I had to take a little time, but the main thing is that I feel much better.”

To make room for O'Neill on the squad, the Orioles Coby Mayo selected to Norfolk and held Emmanuel Rivera, who made ninth place and played the third basis.

“Manny played so well. Manny played great for us in September last year,” said Hyde. “Manny gives you above -average defense, a cool customer on the plate and a big beard. Only a lot of confidence as Major League player.”

Mayo and Rivera both play the first and third basis, but Rivera beats .400.

“Mayo will be back at some point,” said Hyde. “We have a few people who will soon come back soon.”

Colton Cowser, which is on the 60-day injured list with a broken left thumb, is on the journey and has increased the intensity of his exercises.

“Just start somehow,” said Hyde. “Very light baseball activities that keep legs in shape and soon get the arm going. He is still a way away.”

The cowser is not entitled to return by May 30thTH.

The catcher Gary Sánchez, who is on the 10-day injured list with a right-handed inflammation, is still a few weeks away from returning.
