The chase of the Iowa State Patrol ends in the crash

Iowa City, Iowa (KCRG) – A man who fled from a patrol officer in Iowa crashed with another vehicle last Tuesday.

The crash took place on April 22 at around 12.37 p.m. at the intersection of the Governor Street and the Market Street in Iowa City.

A gray Mitsubishi, who was driven by 21-year-old Nicholas Bernard, tried to flee from a State Patrol Officer in Iowa.

When Bernard crossed the Market Street and the Governor Street, he met a gray Subaru, which was driven by 55-year-old Michele Weidl.

Weidl traveled north in the Governor Street when the passenger side of her vehicle was hit.

Bernard's car turned and moved from the impact point to the northwest and hit a electricity.

Weidl's car also turned and hit the traffic control box on the northwestern corner of the intersection.
