Ipswich, Ma enthusiastic about Ed Sheeran Music Video – NBC Boston

The city of Ipswich, Massachusetts, focuses on in Ed Sheeran's latest music video for his new single “Old Phone”.

The global superstar already visited Ipswich in March and built up a pop-up pub for an on-one night performance.

The music video shows the masses that flock to the city center of Ipswich for its surprise performance and are described by local companies, including attempts and salon 36.

“This is exciting to see my shop in front of the camera,” said Barbara Peterson, owner of Vergissme-not. “Everyone who came here in the shop said: 'Did you see Ed Sheeran?'”

“So cool to be in the video forever,” said Alyssa Keefe, hairdresser at Salon 36.

But maybe nobody is more excited than Babesh Bhuju, owner of Zumi's Espresso, who appears a Cameo appearance in the video.

“I just worked yesterday and received a lot of SMS messages,” said Bhuju.

He tells the day on which sheeran went into the café, flanked by cameras, and how the two laughed together as they made a latte.

“I pulled him behind the bar and asked: 'Hey Ed Sheeran, do you want to make a latte?' And I think he said, “I'm not good at it,” he said.

But one thing that Sheeran is good is good when credit is recognized – can be seen by the inclusion of the Ipswich fire brigade.

“The boys worked hard on this day to make sure that everything was safe, and that is certainly something I appreciate,” said Chief Paul Parisi.

In the music video, Sheeran points to the Ipswich Fire Engine with a smile.

“It's just so cool that he did it. It will be in the history of the music videos forever,” said Parisi. “Ipswich Fire, there we are.”

The video also contains NBC10 Bostons Malcolm Johnson, who interviewed Sheeran in Ipswich.

The fans flocked to Ipswich on Friday in the hope of taking a look at Ed Sheeran, who was in the city to open a pop-up pub for his new music video.
