The death of the student leaves Osu “deeply sad” – the daily barometer

The loss of an Oregon State University student was confirmed by Rob Odom, Vice President of University Relations and Marketing.

Odom confirmed in an egg mail to the barometer that a student at OSU died on the evening of May 8.

“Osu is deeply sad about the tragic loss of a student's life,” said Odom. “We offer the family, friends and members of the student our deepest condolences.”

The advice and psychological services of OSU are extended to all students and employees affected by “this unfortunate tragedy”, said Odom.
