The future mother Ashley Dunn from Ipswich knew that her selfie with Sheeran would be a memory that she would show her one day to her daughter. But she had no idea that the moment in the art of the global star would be involved, a happy half a second forever forever part of the music video that made the day when he visited its city.

“It was a much sader song when I expected. I thought of an optimistic pub song, but it was nice to see the nostalgia and then see the crowd.

“He just came in directly, spoke to people and then went right behind the bar and sang his new song. Everyone was crazy,” recalled Paula Fugere in the Choate Bridge Pub.

“He is fabulous. It was our wedding song”, thinks loudly, “a bit of a tie. It's wonderful,” said Barb Cole.

“I think we actually have a lot of new people who come in for this reason. It was very busy here. This restaurant did it well,” said Fugere.

“Everyone was happy and friendly in a good mood. It was really nice to see how the community came together,” added Dunn.
