Who else was speechless on the latest teaser trailer for the series from Amazon Prime I got pretty in summer? After two years of waiting, the third and last season will finally come this summer, and I can't wait. To hype, what will come, Amazon Prime published a tiny teaser, which we should look forward to in the new season. It was even better that she two Taylor Swift songs (continuation of the close relationship of the series to pop artist), a song per love interest.

A normal person simply likes the funny songs (“Daylight” and “Red (Taylor's version)”), but an excessive swift like me absorbs what they put down. I will break down the meaning of every song and explain to you how you deliberately point out the final of the series.

The majority of the teaser trailer is happily together from belly and Jeremiah and falls in love, dances, kisses and runs around and holds the hands around. During these scenes we hear the song “Daylight”, which comes from Swift's album lover. While I was really triggered by the song with regard to Jeremiah (can you say that I am Team Conrad?), I used my Swiftie Detective skills to find an underlying meaning.

“Daylight” is about how, although the speaker has experienced love, she had never experienced true love until the present moment and this true love feels like golden daylight. The texts were: “I don't want to see anything else now because I have seen you / I want to think of nothing else, now that I thought of you / I have slept for so long on a twenty -year dark night / now I see Daylight.” It is clear that Jeremiah is the daylight for belly who has been struggling with love and grief for years. The song is a really happy and timeless representation of loving a person.

It is important to consider Swift's entire discography if she explains her texts because she is known that she refers to previous works in her music. “Daylight” was written for Joe Alwyn, a former friend of Swift's friend with whom she was seven years old and which largely influenced both personal and public perception of the song. When it came out, it was clear that Swift said the world: “I forgot the other songs, that's true love. I found it. I found it.” Unfortunately, their love did not take their love when they separated in 2023. Taylor later left free The department for tortured poetsDetailing a complicated separation enriched by grief, which she both left behind with a broken heart.

Therefore, the “daylight” may symbolize true love alone, but it symbolizes the concept of thinking that they have found one, only to learn later that it could never have been. This fits Jeremiah perfectly, who, although he loves belly and treats her exactly as she deserves, is simply not that for her. For the time in which they are together, Jeremiah feels perfect on paper, but deep inside the stomach never really feels satisfied with him and agrees with the context of the fast song.

In addition, after comparisons of love in Swift's music such as black, white and red pictures, refers to “daylight”. Swift writes: “And I can still see everything in my head / all of me, everyone, intertwined / I thought earlier that love would be black and white / but it is golden. Strangely, the song cuts off in the teaser, as if Swift did the first sing” I believed that love would burn red … “Without” but it is gold “. Guess who the song called “Red?” Receives?

When it comes to Conrad and “Red (Taylor's version)”, he initially seem to be called the crazy and wild love relationship, looking back on the belly and thinks: “I knew you were trouble” but listen to me! This song is about how the speaker thinks about a relationship, but can only see red dazzling, the passion, anger, confusion and freedom that survived when they survived with it. This connection is referred to “daylight”, but is originally pushed aside for the purer daylight color. The teaser cuts off the final claim that true love is “golden”, which means that she once believed that love burned red … and maybe it is actually? Then we finally see Connie Baby!

There he stands in his mouth with a candy tube and looks very dreamy for the three seconds of his screen time. This is the time when we hear “Red (Taylor's version)” in the background, while the scene fades into a cover screen, “but to love it was red / red / red” and ended the “daylight” edikum with a new claim that your version of True Love might be red.

Although I cannot guarantee the end of the television series (even if I know the end of the book series), I can provide my reading about why certain songs were used in the teaser. It is important to remember that Taylor Swift songs were consistently used in the entire series to symbolize relationships. Therefore, reading is so far in the song selection of the creative team with what the creators expect from us.

I hope that this theory is helpful for all Conrad fans out there who hold on a thread after such a jeremiah-strong teaser trailer. Hold down hope and do not forget where we started! Just like Taylor Swift, I got pretty in summer Always used music and pop culture to fall small Easter eggs for fans. I can't wait to see what happens this summer!
