Fond du Lac Mrs. accused of having stabbed the death of a woman during a drug agreement

Fond du lac, wis. (Wbay) – The Fond du LAC woman who was accused of stabbed a mother to steal drugs during a drug agreement did not advocate competition on Friday.

Annaka Trudell, 20, was accused of committing armed robberies with violence in the death of Ashley Calo in 2024 due to the use of a dangerous weapon and party.

During a hearing on Friday, Trudell did not advocate a competition and had a plea agreement that would modify her intentional murder suspicion for the first degree against ruthless murder with a dangerous weapon, which would mean that she was faced with a maximum of 60 years in prison and rather lifelong prison complaints.

A status hearing was determined for July 25th.

According to the criminal complaint, Trudell Calo repeatedly stabbed the chest and arm with a kitchen knife, after Trudell and Dawson Miller, who are also charged with Calo's death, have made a plan to steal drugs from Calo by buying specifications of buying drugs from it.

According to the prosecutors, the two wanted to turn to Trudell to buy drugs, but instead of paying them, they would steal their drugs. “Miller said Trudell that he should bring a knife for her protection for her protection so that she did it.”

The prosecutors say that when Trudell came back after the stabbing of Calo, he helped her to flee Fond du Lac.

In the criminal complaint, trudel is quoted that she quotes the officials that she bought drugs, and the person became physically with her, so she “pulled something out of my pocket and I did it a few times and then I just ran.”

When she learned that the woman was dead, “Trudell replied with sobs and said:” I didn't want to do that “or” I didn't want to kill her “… 'I didn't mean that that happened.'”

The Fond du Lac police were asked in the median in front of N. Main St., the caller, for an unit with a vehicle, they thought someone was overdosed.

Officers found Calo bleeding, passed out and did not breathe. They tried life -saving efforts until paramedics arrived, but Calo died in a hospital after their arrival. A 3-year-old child was on the back seat, intact.

A police officer said a child said her mother crashed the car and it was another person in the car with them. A witness thought she saw a white man run before the crash run.

A person who came from a company found a large sparkling wine in addition to her pickup and a coat and knife handle under the truck. The police said she found a broken knife handle on the truck with a broken blade under the coat. They also found a jagged bread knife.

The man he ran from the scene and was identified as Witness 1 in the criminal complaint said that he was a friend of Calo and admitted that he helped handling the drug agreement.

He saw how Calo and Trudell wrestle in front of Calo's car. Trudell was on Calo. He described how he pushes Trudell away with his foot. Then he saw a kitchen knife about 6 to 8 inches long. “He did not notice that a knife was first involved,” the complaint said.

Trudell ran away. Calo got into her car and said, “Let's get out of here” and he went with her. The witness said Calo told him her rib, and he said it seemed as if Calo didn't know that she had been stabbed. When she drove, she passed out.

An autopsy said that the cause of death was a penetrating trauma wound on the chest area on its upper left chest.

Trudell and Dawson were arrested for a call for a woman who unintentionally helped the couple. They came to their door on the night of February 13 and said they were homeless, and claimed that the former tenant let him sleep in the basement.

The next day the woman bought her clothes and a suitcase in the goodwill and bought lunch and drove them to the library in West Bend. When the woman called her daughter and told her about it, the daughter found that these were the people they were looking for.

The West Bend police found Trudell and Dawson in the library.

The public prosecutor said that Miller had admitted to hiding Trudell's clothing and Trudell's ID card and credit cards when he was arrested.
