France's cyber security authority said in a paper that the French ministerial agencies as well as various actors from the private sector, including the financial and aviation sector, were targeted.

The French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot published a message about X that France “Blocks and fights his opponents” together with a video about the “silent war” led by Russia against France.

In the past few weeks, Macron has increased rhetoric against Russian President Vladimir Putin to increase the pressure on the ceasefire talks between the United States and Russia.

Last week, Macron Putin asked to stop at his request to peacefully end the war in Ukraine in a passionate exchange with reporters. Previously, the French President also warned US President Donald Trump that Putin played games at the end of an international summit in Paris.
