Dartmouth, trade fair. (WHDH) – The Bristol County House of Corrections in Dartmouth, which was completely dropped there by inmates.

This happened in April 2023.

7news has been fighting for a surveillance camera for almost two years that shows what is going down.

You can see that fiery garbage is thrown from a balcony to the prison officer. The guards step back.

Then several inmates jump over the barricades they separate from officers and there are chaos.

An inmate grabs a floor fan, another lifts a dolly and they try to break the windows of the housing unit.

They cover their faces as they knock down doors, throw water around, throw papers and make a total chaos.

They try to cover their traces by swinging on surveillance cameras to break them and cover windows with blankets and cardboard.

After all, they use everything they can gather to barricade themselves in the officers.

The authorities say this started because the occupants refused to move into another unit.

7News cameras were allowed after the disorder to see the damage worth more than $ 100,000.

This security video shows members of the department for correction and law enforcement from all over the state.

First open the door and throw a lightning bang in.

To get into the device, you have to charge the blockade through the occupants created.

They are armed with long weapons, signs, helmets, batons and gas masks.

The occupants are pulled out individually.

You can see how the water checks every cell on the floor and the officials.

The occupants are then taken outside the prison and laid.

More than a hundred inmates were involved, and some would finally be exposed to charges.
