Honeywell Outlook, Adidas, Amazon & Trump: Trendticker

00:00 Speaker A

It is now time for some trend kickers today. We watch Honeywell, Adidas and Amazon. Initially, Honeywell increases its profit guidelines for the overall years, which contains the expected effective tariffs, the company's reduction measures as well as the company's volatility and demand. This happens after the industrial conglomerate exceeded expectations in the first quarter, but the turnover of almost 8%before the previous year. I am accompanied by Bob Lane, explosive option Technical Analyst, to discuss Bob about large pop in the shares of over 5% and to see interesting how the ability to increase the company to increase its full year instruction, especially in its EPS. What does that signal to you?

Well, it tells me that you see a lot of strength in the back half of the year and really don't have too much of the tariffs, which will now always be a problem with UH with some of these companies that are currently reporting in this quarter. I look at the free cash flow. The Free Cashflow is enormous for UH for Honeywell this quarter. In addition, the edges were extremely UH at almost 20%, which is much higher than normal for this quarter. Around the deficit grew 9% to UH with a high single -digit arrangement growth. Some of these metrics and some of these future income for UH and orders for Honeywell really give you a good UH information on what your business looks like. And I think we'll go over the years, we are talking over 2026 and even until 2027. The CEO said that their business looks robust.

Yes, you have certainly done that and maybe that's the reason why you see it here in the shares. But we want to warnet to Adidas that it has to increase prices for all US products due to President Trump's tariffs. The sports clothing company is also able to increase its financial guidelines for the year due to uncertainty in the first quarter in the first quarter. Interestingly, the company's managing director says that we are currently not almost one of our products in the USA. Ultimately, these higher tariffs will cause higher costs for all of our products for the US market. So Bob, which is interesting for me in this company, is a company that somehow you have two versions of the exposure to retailers, China and how much you can build in the USA. And this company says that it is not the awareness of China that is the problem. It is the inability to produce in the states.

03:28 bob

That's correct. And I know I consider this drop in Adidas as a great chance. I would take this opportunity to buy some stocks, and I will tell you why the competitors are really stalling at the moment and stumble and try to find out about yourself at the moment, you know where you will produce products. I think Nike is sure that the big player in shoes and in sporting wear is obviously the big player. You wonder where you will also produce your products. Will it be China? Will it be India or elsewhere? And if you then talk about other companies such as Coca shoes that are made by um, I can't remember which names of the company we have, but we got Hoka shoes that you know really enlarged your business about two years ago and you did it to take a lot of Adidas, from Nike and Puma and a few other names. Um, but I think you also hit a problem there to use it with production. So I think Adidas is currently coming out of the problem.

In order, Bob, we also want to come to Amazon's Amazon, which were beaten by the White House because they plan to show President Trump's tariffs in addition to the total price for products on his website. The press spokesman for the White House, Karen Lever, calls it an enemy and political quote. Amazon is currently currently denying the report that, according to a reporter at Washington Post, reported an Amazon spokesman that this was never considered for the main website of the Amazon -AMAZON. Instead, it was about Amazon Hall. Remember that Amazon Hall is the competitor of Shean von Temu. In the past few weeks we have seen a significant way to raise the prices of Shean and Temu. Never consider a consideration for the main -amazon website. I am at Amazon with several people to clarify this morning. But Bob, as you can see, did not prevent the Amazon shares from suffering a bit.

06:14 bob

Right. And I will tell you what if this is the reason why Amazon is down today, I'm there and buy with both hands. You have the result later this week. The first quarter is usually not your best quarter, but I think that it has run out of a huge holiday season for Amazon, the fourth quarter. In this first quarter I think that you will get lights out. I think your AWS business is finally a huge turn in the last quarter and you increase your business. I think every decline here in Amazon is a great opportunity for UH for investors and dealers.
