Again the amnesty program of the Skandal Rock President

·When ex-agitators cry badly, they request the investigation of Otuaro's behavior

The Niger Delta exemption and ex-agitator forum, NDLEF, has asked Dennis Otuaro, the special consultant of the President of the President of the Niger Delta matters and the coordinator of the President's amnesty program, PAP, for alleged embezzlement of funds.

In a petition, the NDLEF asked the EFCC Economic and Finance Commission to examine the awarding of contracts to companies that are no longer existing, money laundering and the alleged embezzlement of over 50 billion Naira in public funds for the development of the Niger Delta region.

The group, led by their Convener Odey Otunu, made this known in Abuja during a press conference on Friday.

According to him, “we all recognize the interest of President Bola Tinubu, the government led the government to the development of the Niger Delta region through the release of funds for the parastatal of the Niger Delta -oriented government such as the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC and the President's Amnesty Office.

“As a group, however, we cannot fold our hands and see those who become the Beacons of Hope and Pilots of Development in the Niger Delta region. Therefore, this press conference is necessary to strengthen the emergency of the region before things get out of control.”

The group also claimed that a company named Maro-Kana Construction Co. Limited (RC 1253803, on April 8, 2015) received an order from PAP for advice.

“This clearly gives the company a mandate to do what is missing to do the legal ability,” said Otunu.

Otunu continued that the most important discovery in her investigation was that you found that Maro-Cana Construction Co. is Limited Moribund.

According to him, “resulting in a simple search at the corporate affairs commission that the company is inactive and is therefore not taken for a government contract. However, this is the company, which has only received billions from Naira without tendering, in order to organize only fictional stakeholder meetings.”

He continued: “On July 10, 2024, the office of the President of the President of the Niger Delta 42,976,987.50 ₦ to Maro-Kana Construction Company Limited for advice on strategic communication and stakeholder in the Niger Delta region, Bayelsa and Cross River State for May 2024 with payment reference 1001194577-13.

“On July 17, 2024, the office of the President of the President of the Niger Delta paid 90,000,000,000.00 ° C to Maro-Kana Construction Co Limited for the reimbursement of stakeholder management meetings in Bayelsa State for June 2024 with payment reference 1001196052-39 and payment code: 011100200222222222. “

The group then asked the Economic and Finance Criminal Commission (EFCC) to examine these transactions together with others who were determined in the petition and found that no measures should be taken to use peaceful protest to push their claim home.

Remember that President Pap's amnesty program had six coordinators. by Major Godwin Abbe (2009-2010) as a pioneer consultant of the President of the Niger Delta and the Papal Coordinator/Chairman of Timi Alaiibe, a former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC; and Kingsley Kuku and the retired Brigg gene PT Boroh, whose terms in 2015 and 2018 and Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo, which was replaced in February 2020 by the current interim administrator, Colonel Milland Dixon Dikio (RETD).

There was no greater controversy when Abbe and Alaibe had set up the office to deal with the riots in the Niger Delta region by reintegrating the agitators into society. Before Dokubo came, his two immediate predecessors Kuku and Boroh became the guests of the Economic and Finance Commission for Economic Affairs and Financial Crimes, EFCC.

Boroh's successor Dokubo was also suspended by President Buhari on February 28, 2020.

The then special advisor of the President of the Media and Advertising, Femi Adesina, said in an explanation that the suspension corresponds to the recommendation of a caretaker committee to check allegations and petitions against Docubo.

“After numerous allegations and petitions in connection with the president's amnesty program, the NSA set up a caretaker committee to investigate the activities of the program on the Directive of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Part of the task of the committee is to ensure that assigned resources are properly used in accordance with the government's aim of alleviating problems in the Niger Delta region and coordinating corruption in the amnesty program.

“As a result, the NSA recommended that the coordinator of the amnesty program, Professor Charles Quaker Docubo, are suspended, a recommendation that has been approved and takes the immediate effect.”

After a former agitator, why do you think that every other coordinator from Pap to Timi Aleibe, whom we respect as our father and leader, were fingered in corruption? It is because all of these people who are appointed do not know anything about the fights and pain that were endured by the average Niger Deltan: In addition, they know nothing about the pain and struggles of us, the former agitators. How about everything in the world do you think that such people can really and honestly do the job to which they are appointed? “
