Mn truck driver comes in an accident and leaves the scene in which teen drivers die

A dump truck drove with an SUV in North Minnesota on Friday and left the scene in which a driver died, officers said.

The wreck with three vehicles occurred around 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of the country roads 1 and 66 near Crosslake, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office said.

According to the Sheriff office:

The dump truck entered the intersection and collided with an SUV. A second SUV was also hit.

Rescue actors Medical Responker carried out life-saving measures for the 18-year-old driver of the SUV, who was involved in the wreck for the first time. The teenager died at the scene.

The passenger of the teenager was critically injured and taken to an ambulance. A passenger in the back seat was brought to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle with non -critical injuries.

The truck driver “left the scene with its employer”, read a sheriff office declaration, but offered no further elaboration.

State records show that the truck at Schrupp Excavating from Pine River, Minn. A family member of Schrupp has confirmed that a Schrupp truck was involved in the crash, but other company officials were not available immediately to comment on the driver's departure.
