Meeting under the chair of KP Pa spokesman who was informed about the Kohistan scandal

Peshawar – A high -ranking meeting regarding the Kohistan scandal took place here in the conference room of the meeting under the chairmanship of the speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Babar Saleem Swati.

The General Director (DG) Audit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and relevant officials of the meeting secretariat took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, a detailed briefing was carried out in relation to the ten-year examination of the suspicious bank accounts that were involved in the Kohistan scandal. The briefing included a detailed discussion about account access and the reference conditions (tors) to ensure that the test process is transparent and effective.

The spokesman Babar Saleem pointed out that the test process is carried out with the greatest integrity and transparency so that the committee for public accounts (PAC) can take effective measures when recovering the abused funds and ensure strict steps against those responsible. The DG Audit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provided a detailed review of the scope of the audit and the matters in connection with the account access during the meeting.

Spokesman Babar Saleem emphasized that the provincial assembly would fulfill its constitutional and legal obligations with integrity and that the PAC is fully functional. He explained that measures are taken on the basis of the results that result from the test process.

The spokesman Babar Saleem also gave the DG -Audit special instructions to ensure the full preparation for the second meeting of the Public Company Committee (PAC) in relation to the Kohistan Financial Skandal on May 14.

The spokesman confirmed the obligation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa meeting to eliminate corruption and protect public resources. He also emphasized that the rule of law and the transparent accountability are ensured and that those involved are brought to court.
