EU politicians are calling for the blockade of the Gaza aid blockade in Israel when the number of fatalities increases

On Saturday, the leaders of several political groups in the European Parliament asked Israel to immediately resume deliveries in the Gaza Strip.

“We are calling for immediate measures by the Israeli authorities in cooperation with the United Nations and Humanitarian Organizations to ensure unrestricted access to essential humanitarian aid for the Palestinian population in Gaza,” says the explanation.

It was published by Manfred Weber by the conservative European People's Party (EPP), Iratxe García by the Socialists and Democrats (S&D), Valérie Hayer from Renew Europe, Terry Reinintke and Bas Eickhout of the Greens/European Free Alliance and Martin Schirdewan of the Left.

“We are calling for immediate and effective international measures to facilitate the unbearable humanitarian crisis in Gaza against the background of the blockade, which was issued by the Israeli government and prevents humanitarian aid from achieving the civilian population under inhumane conditions,” continued the explanation.

The signatories also condemned “an act of politicizing or militarization of humanitarian aid”.

At the same time, they called for proactive diplomatic efforts by the EU to achieve a permanent ceasefire and to reaffirm the commitment of the European Parliament for a two-state solution.

For more than two months, the Israeli military has prevented the aids from entering the Gaza Strip, where the humanitarian situation has reached catastrophic dimensions.

There is a lack of food, drinking water, medicine and everyday necessities that cause international aid organizations to urgently warn against growing famine.

Death fee meets 52,800

At least 52,810 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's genocide war against Gaza since October 2023, the Health Ministry of the Strip announced on Saturday.

In a declaration by the ministry, 23 people in Israeli attacks in the enclave were killed in the last 24 hours, while 124 were injured, which brought the number of injuries in the Israeli rush to 119,473.

“Many victims are still under the ruins and on the streets, although the rescuers cannot reach them,” added.

The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 2,701 people and injured 7,432 more, which shook a ceasefire and a ceasefire and prisoner exchange contract that started in January.

In November in November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also looks like an genocide proceedings at the International Court of Justice against the enclave because of his war.
