After cuts by Trump Aid, Food Banks Krocken and Scrimp

Sara Busse had to prepare a hot meal for 40 needy seniors. She had promised a main course, a starch, a vegetable, a fruit and a dessert.

In the past, she had received many of these ingredients free of charge from the US Agriculture Ministry.

This time she had dried cranberries, crackers and vegetable soup.

“What should I do?” she said. “What should I cook?”

This was more likely to be under pressure on non -profit organizations that distribute food or meals in order to keep their corner of the American security network, to dive in reserves and search for donations to replace the food they had lost.
