Larry D. Whitlock dies during ATV crash in Lawrence Co.

Lawrence County, Ala. (Waff) -A Decatur -Man died on Friday at an ATV crash in Lawrence County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (Aleea).

Alea said that on Friday at around 6.50 p.m. a collapse with a vehicle with an ATV took place and claimed the life of a decatur man who was identified as a 65-year-old Larry D. Whitlock.

The authorities said that Whitlock was fatally injured when the Honda Ranche ATV, which he operated, left the street, hit a ditch and tipped over. Whitlock was thrown out of the ATV and declared dead at the crime scene.

Alea said that the crash was in Lawrence County 362, about four miles west of Trinity, in Lawrence County.

Soldiers from the Aleas Highway Patrol Division continue to examine this incident.
